we have this day freely given to us,
all we have is today to do what we must,
Tommorow we may not be sure,
but today smiles at us.
This time is too precious to let it slip by,
we can do what we can today,
Tommorow may never really come.
Eventhough the rain falls or the sun shines
we can do it today.
Some left to the land of the great beyound
And never really said goodbye
All we really have is today,
To change what we must and be who we must,
one step at a time and we will get there.
To take no step at all,
Is to delay the good.
Generations coming will ask us questions
If we fail to do what we must today,
All we really have is today....
